Our philosophy
Working in public practice and performing multiple roles, I realized that large accounting firms operate with robust, highly efficient systems that allow them to deliver results quickly to a vast number of clients. While this model certainly works, I often felt that clients were not treated personally. I couldn't shake the feeling that, if I were the client, that was not the kind of experience I would want from an accounting firm.
With JMG CPA, my goal is to provide truly personal service to every client. By personal, I mean taking the time to understand who they are, learning all relevant details of their business and tax situation, and maintaining an open door for any questions they may have at any time. I believe clients deserve full attention and a trusted advisor who knows their unique circumstances.
My mission is to make their experience not only smooth and pleasant, but also highly effective - delivering the best results and ensuring they save money for their future and their legacy.

Juliana Gonçalves
In her time off, Juliana believes that exercising is the best way to maintain both her mental and physical health. Whether it's bootcamps, yoga, spin classes, or simply enjoying walks or bike rides around our beautiful town, that's where you'll find her when she's not behind a computer screen. She also loves traveling, exploring the world, and learning about new cultures.
Professionally, along with her commitment to creating a positive experience for every client, her guiding motto is to treat her clients' money as if it were her own - meaning she uses her skills and expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for those she serves.

Ronny Gonçalves
As a door greeter, emotional-support dog during the hectic days of tax season, or gentle security guard, Ronaldo (better known as Ronny) is often at the office making everyone's day a little brighter. A fun fact about Ronny is that he was named after the legendary soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo—fitting, since both of his humans are big soccer fans.

Suely Flores
Our highly skilled bookkeeper, Suely has extensive experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, GST/HST, and month-end close. She is detail-oriented, reliable, and trusted to maintain accurate financial records. On her time off she likes travelling and enjoying what our beautiful Okanagan valley has to offer.
